Andy Chan has volunteered with Books To Prisoners since 1994. He has been involved with all aspects of the project including fundraising, community contacts, and day-to-day business. He also established the first national communications network between prison book programs in North America. Andy works in social services, takes a keen interest in animal rights and social change issues, has degrees in political science and juggles volunteering and working with parenting and numerous other more trivial pursuits. 

Rachel McDonald works as a Teen Librarian in the Seattle area.  Her interest in social justice and literacy issues lead her to Books to Prisoners, where she has volunteered for the past 2 years.  She is involved with fundraising and grantwriting within the organization.
